Ramayanam is a 1996 Telugu-language History Drama motion picture written by M.v.s. Harnatha Rao, M. S. Reddy, Bhujangaraya Sarma and M. V. S. Haranatha Rao. The movie is directed by Gunasekhar and produced by M. S. Reddy under the banner of Shabdhalaya Theaters. The story dealt with Lord Rama and his retaliation over Ravana, in which all the characters played in the film were child artists. Ramayanam stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Smitha Madhav, Swathikumar, Narayanam Nikhil, Junior N.t.r., Chiranjeevi Sammeta and Nt Rama Rao Jr. The music was composed by Madhavapeddi Suresh along with L. Vaidyanathan. Cinematography was done by Sekhar V. Joseph and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. It was released on 14th April 1996.

The story deals with Rama and his retaliation against Ravana for the kidnap of his wife Sita.
