Rangu is a 2018 Telugu-language Action Drama film written by Paruchuri Brothers and Kaarthikeya Varikallu. The movie is directed by Kaarthikeya Varikallu and produced by Padmanabha Reddy under the banner of U&I Entertainments. Lara (Tanish) is a top ranker in his school. He joins the senior college for his graduation and starts a happy life. But his life becomes hell because of his senior Bandi Srinu (Sameer Datta), who is bad in his attitude. Left with no choice, Lara takes the violence route. He forcefully becomes a dreaded Rowdy. This is also the time when he falls in love with Purna (Priya Singh) and decides to start a new life. But to his bad luck, he becomes most wanted list in police. Written by Tambireddy Surendrareddy. Rangu features Priya Singh, Paruchuri Ravindranath, Sameer Datta, Posani Krishna Murali, Shafi, Pruthvi Raj and Aman Mettapalli. The music was composed by Yogeshwara Sharma along with Yogeshwar Sharma. Cinematography was done by T. Surendra Reddy and editing by Basava Paidi Reddy. The film has a running time of 148 Minutes. It was released on 23rd November 2018. The Film was successful at box office. Rangu was made on a budget of ₹60 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹210 crore.
