Rare Exports is a 2010 Finnish-language Adventure Fantasy film written and directed by Jalmari Helander and produced by Petri Jokiranta. On Christmas Eve in Finland, Santa Claus is unearthed in an archaeological dig. Soon after, children start disappearing, leading a boy and his father to capture Santa and, with the help of fellow hunters, they look to sell him back to the corporation that sponsored the dig. Rare exports features Onni Tommila in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Jorma Tommila, Per Christian Ellefsen, Tommi Korpela, Rauno Juvonen, Ilmari J Rvenp and Peeter Jakobi. The music was composed by Juri Sepp along with Miska Sepp. Cinematography was done by Mika Orasmaa and editing by Kimmo Taavila. The movie has a running time of 82 minutes. It was released on 2nd December 2010 in Finnish and English languages. The Film was successful at box office. Rare Exports was made on a budget of €1 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $4 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by FS Film Oy.
