Premachandran is a good carpenter well-versed in Thachu-Shastra (Science of Carpentry). He is sought after by many for being true to his profession.. Rasathanthram features Meera Jasmine, Bharath Gopi, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Mamukkoya, Mohanlal Viswanathan and Anoop Chandran. The screenplay is written by Sathyan Anthikkad.
