Ready is a 2011 Hindi-language Action Comedy film written by Rajan Aggarwal, Ikram Akhtar, Nisar Akhtar, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Gopimohan, Rajeev Kaul, Sajid and Sajid-farhad. The movie is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Sohail Khan, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Rajat Rawail, Nitin Manmohan and Krishan Kumar Dua under the banner of T-Series in collaboration with Rawail Grandsons Entertainment and Software Pvt. Ltd., Sohail Khan Productions and Eros International. Set in Thailand and India, a case of mistaken identity leads to love; and a man and his family concoct a grand scheme to win over the hearts of a woman and her greedy conniving uncles. Ready stars Salman Khan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Paresh Rawal, Mahesh Manjrekar, Roshan Abbas, Puneet Issar, Sharat Saxena and Akhilendra Mishra. The screenplay is written by Rajiv Kaul, Ikram Akhtar and Rajan Agarwal which is inspired from Ready by Kona Venkat Gopimohan. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty along with Devi Sri Prasad and Sandeep Shirodkar. Cinematography was done by Sunil Patel and editing by Ritesh Soni. The motion picture has a running time of 145 minutes. It was released on 2nd June 2011. The Film was successful at box office. Ready was made on a budget of ₹61 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹120 crore. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Wave Cinemas.
