Revolt of the Zombies is a 1936 English-language Adventure Horror film written by Victor Halperin, Howard Higgin and Rollo Lloyd. The movie is directed by Victor Halperin and produced by Edward Halperin under the banner of Victor & Edward Halperin Productions. An international expedition is sent into Cambodia to destroy an ancient formula that turns men into zombies. Revolt of the zombies stars Dorothy Stone, Dean Jagger, Roy D'arcy, Robert Noland, George Cleveland, E. Alyn Warren and Hans Schumm. The music was composed by Charles Dunworth along with Hugo Riesenfeld. Cinematography was done by Jockey Arthur Feindel and Arthur Martinelli and editing by Douglass Biggs. The film has a running time of 65 minutes. It was released on 4th June 1936. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Academy Pictures Distributing Corporation.
