Rishi is a 2005 Kannada-language Drama movie written by M. S. Ramesh and directed by Prakash and produced by J. Jayamma under the banner of Sri Jaimatha Combines. Rishi features Vijay Raghavendra in the lead role along with Shivarajkumar, Sindhu Tolani, Radhika Kumaraswamy and Shiva Rajkumar in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Prakash, and M. S. Abhishek. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Gurukiran Shetty. Cinematography was done by Krishna Kumar and editing by S. Manohar. The film has a running time of 149 mins. It was released on 14th April 2005. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Jayanna Films.
