The movie is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and Guy Ritchie and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. Rock on!! stars Arjun Rampal in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Shahana Goswami, Farhan Akhtar, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli, Koel Purie and Luke Kenny. The screenplay is written by Pubali Chaudhari and Abhishek Kapoor. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan and Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Cinematography was done by Jason West and editing by Deepa Bhatia. The film has a running time of 145 minutes. It was released on 29th August 2008. The Film was successful at box office.
