Running Out of Time is a 1999 Cantonese-language Action Crime film written by Yau Nai-hoi, Laurent Courtiaud and Julien Carbon. The movie is directed by Johnnie To and produced by Johnnie To under the banner of Win's Entertainment in collaboration with Milkyway Image. Dying Wah has nothing to be afraid of any when he realizes that he has only 4 weeks to live, and he's determined to get revenge for his father. Later, when Wah successfully gets away in a robbery, detective San makes up his mind and chases after Wah and arrests him. But, we can only have one winner in a game, who's gonna win? Written by L.H. Wong. Running out of time stars Andy Lau, Lau Ching-wan, Ching Wan Lau, Yoyo Mung, Waise Lee, Shiu Hung Hui and Sau Kei Lee. The music was composed by Raymond Wong. Cinematography was done by Cheng Siu-Keung and editing by Andy Chan. The motion picture has a running time of 93 minutes. It was released on 30th September 1999. The film made a box office gross of $14 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by China Star Entertainment Group.
