Safe Haven is a 2013 English-language Drama Romance movie written by Dana Stevens, Gage Lansky and Nicholas Sparks. The movie is directed by Lasse Hallstrom and Lasse Hallstr M and produced by Ryan Kavanaugh, Wyck Godfrey, Nicholas Sparks, Marty Bowen and Chad Freet under the banner of Relativity Media in collaboration with Temple Hill Entertainment. A young woman with a mysterious past lands in Southport, North Carolina where her bond with a widower forces her to confront the dark secret that haunts her. Safe haven stars Josh Duhamel, Julianne Hough, Cobie Smulders, David Lyons, Irene Ziegler, Jon Kohler and Lorynn York. The screenplay is written by Gage Lansky and Dana Stevens which is inspired from Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks. The music was composed by Deborah Lurie. Cinematography was done by Terry Stacey and editing by Andrew Mondshein. The film has a running time of 115 minutes. It was released on 21st February 2013. The Film was successful at box office. Safe Haven was made on a budget of $28 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $97 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Relativity Media.
