Samba is a 2014 French-language Comedy Drama movie written by Eric Toledano, Olivier Nakache, Delphine Coulin and Muriel Coulin. The movie is directed by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano and produced by Nicolas Duval-adassovsky, Laurent Zeitoun and Yann Zenou under the banner of Canal+ in collaboration with Gaumont, Korokoro, Quad Films, Ten Films and TF1 Films Production. Samba migrated to France ten years ago from Senegal, and has since been plugging away at various lowly jobs.. Samba features Omar Sy in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Charlotte Gainsbourg, Tahar Rahim, Iz A Higelin, Izïa Higelin, Issaka Sawadogo and Hélène Vincent.
