Sampoorna Mahabharat is a 1983 Gujarati-language Action Adventure motion picture written by A. L. Narayanan and directed by Babubhai Mistri and K. Vijayan and produced by Santhi Narayansamy, and T. Manohar under the banner of Sivaji Productions. While meditating, Sage Durvasa is deceived by Rajkumari Gandhari for a boon of 100 sons, which was meant for Rajkumari Kunti.. Sampoorna mahabharat stars Sivaji Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, Sripriya, Reena, Jayshree Gadkar, Arvind Kumar and Snehlata. The film is based on Shankar Guru by V. Somashekhar. The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan. Cinematography was done by K. S. Prasad and T. S. Vinayagam and editing by B. Kandhasamy. It was released on 1st January 1983.
