Scream is a 1996 English-language Horror Mystery film written by Kevin Williamson and directed by Wes Craven and produced by Cathy Konrad and Cary Woods under the banner of Woods Entertainment. A year after the murder of her mother, a teenage girl is terrorized by a new killer, who targets the girl and her friends by using horror films as part of a deadly game. Scream stars David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Matthew Lillard, Rose Mcgowan, Skeet Ulrich and Henry Winkler. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami. Cinematography was done by Mark Irwin and editing by Patrick Lussier. The film has a running time of 111 minutes. It was released on 14th August 1997. The Film was successful at box office. Scream was made on a budget of $14 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $173 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Dimension Films.
