Scream Queens is a 2008 English-language show created by Jim Ackerman. The show was Produced by Peter Spoerri under the banner of Lionsgate Television in collaboration with Joke Productions, VH1 and Twisted Pictures. Ten unknown actresses compete for role in a horror movie from Lionsgate Films. The music was composed by Mac Quayle along with Heather Heywood and Alexis Martin Woodall. Cinematography was done by Adam Sampson. The series has a running time of 44 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 16 episodes during it's run of 2 seasons. Distribution rights for the show were acquired by 20th Television.

The second season picks up years after the murderous events at Kappa House. Dean Munsch purchases an abandoned hospital with a haunted past. After recruiting surgeons as well as medical student Zayday Williams, the Dean shocks everyone when she enlists the services of the disgraced Chanels. They delve deep into the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases, as a new and terrifyingly funny mystery begins once again.
