Scrubs is a 2002 English-language series developed by Bill Lawrence. Scrubs was produced under the production house Doozer Productions in collaboration with Touchstone Television and ABC Studios. The series originally aired on NBC and ABC. Set in the fictional Sacred Heart hospital in California, John J.D Dorian makes his way through the overwhelming world of medicine, with the help of his best friend, his fellow rookie doctors, and the arrogant, but brilliant attending physician he views as his mentor. Written by minecraftman707. Scrubs stars Zach Braff in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, Neil Flynn, Ken Jenkins, John C. Mcginley and Judy Reyes. The music was composed by Jan Stevens along with Chad Fischer, Chris Link and Tim Bright. The series has a running time of 20-23 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 182 episodes during it's run of 9 seasons. Distribution rights for the show were acquired by Buena Vista Television.

Scrubs Season 9

The ninth and final season of the American comedy-drama television series Scrubs premiered on ABC on December 1, 2009 and concluded on March 17, 2010 and consists of 13 episodes. This season marked a major change in the series; it takes place at a different location and only three of the seven main characters from the first eight seasons remained as regular main characters. The rest of the cast is made up of new recruits, including Lucy, played by Kerry Bishé, who is also the show's new narrator. Former star Zach Braff returned for six episodes of the season. The new season focuses on students at a med school at the fictional Winston University, rather than interns at a hospital. Doctors Perry Cox and Christopher Turk, played by John C. McGinley and Donald Faison respectively, returned as teachers. The show's filming location moved from the North Hollywood Medical Center to sets at Culver Studios. The series takes place at the new Sacred Heart Hospital, located on the Winston University campus. The season takes place over a year after the events of the last episode of the eighth season, "My Finale", which was expected to be the last episode and ended many of the series' long-running storylines. However, Bill Lawrence was approached concerning more episodes, and as a result, the show entered its ninth season.
