Shadows is a 2016 Mandarin-language Animation Drama film directed by Zhang Yimou and produced by Jun Liu, Catherine Pang and Xiaozhu Wang under the banner of Village Roadshow Pictures Asia in collaboration with Le Vision Pictures. Shadows stars Deng Chao, Sun Li, Zheng Kai, Wang Qianyuan, Hu Jun, Guan Xiaotong and Wang Jingchun. The screenplay is written by Wei Li and Zhang Yimou. The music was composed by Zai Lao. Cinematography was done by Zhao Xiaoding and editing by Zhou Xiaolin. The film has a running time of 116 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $90 million.
