Shama is a 1961 Hindi-language Drama Musical motion picture written by Kaifi Azmi, Lekhraj Bhakri and Kuldeep Sehgal. The movie is directed by Lekhraj Bhakri and Lekhraj Bhakhri and produced by Kuldip Sehga. A woman experiences heartbreak when she ends up arranging the marriage of the poet she secretly loves. Shama stars Vijay Dutt in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Tarun Bose, M. Kumar, Mumtaz Begum, Tun Tun, Chanda and Nimmi Nawab Banoo. The music was composed by Mohammed Rafi along with Ghulam Mohammad. It was released on 1st January 1961.
