Sheikh Chilli is a 1956 Hindi-language Action Adventure motion picture written by Dhananjaya and Pandit Indra. The movie is directed by Ramchandra Thakur and Manoj Punj and produced by Pandit Indra and Manjeet Maan. A Princess goes on the run after refusing to marry a prince she dislikes and instead masquerades as a wife with a barber who can converse with a donkey. Sheikh chilli stars Gurdas Maan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Tabu, Divya Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sonu Sood and Chetana Das. The screenplay is written by Suraj Sanim. The music was composed by Anand Raj Anand along with Hemant Prashar. Editing was done by Omkarnath Bhakri, and Kajal Naskar. It was released on 1st January 1956.
