Shoot Em Up is a 2007 English-language Action Comedy motion picture written and directed by Michael Davis and produced by Rick Benattar, Susan Montford and Don Murphy under the banner of Montford/Murphy. A man named Mr. Smith delivers a woman's baby during a shootout, and is then called upon to protect the newborn from the army of gunmen. Shoot em up stars Clive Owen in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Paul Giamatti, Monica Bellucci, Stephen Mchattie, Greg Bryk, Daniel Pilon and Sidney Mende-gibson. The music was composed by Paul Haslinger. Cinematography was done by Peter Pau and editing by Peter Amundson. The motion picture has a running time of 86 minutes. It was released on 27th September 2007. Shoot Em Up was made on a budget of $39 million and at the box office it grossed only $27 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by New Line Cinema.
