Simhasanam is a 1986 Telugu-language Drama History motion picture written by Bappi Lahiri and Krishna. The movie is directed by Krishna Ghattamaneni and produced by Krishna Ghattamaneni under the banner of Padmalaya Studios. Simhasanam stars Jaya Prada, Amjad Khan, Krishna Ghattamaneni, Mandakini Joseph, Tadepalli Lakshmi Kanta Rao, Giribabu and Satyanarayana Kaikala. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri. Cinematography was done by V. S. R. Swamy and editing by Krishna. It was released on 21st March 1986. The film made a box office gross of ₹4 crore. An army chief tries to clear all the problems to save the kingdom.
