Simon, King of the Witches is a 1971 English-language Horror movie written by Robert Phippeny and directed by Bruce Kessler and produced by Joe Solomon under the banner of Fanfare Films Inc. in collaboration with Astral Films. Simon Sinestrari is one of the few true male witches that exist. His ultimate goal is to leave the earth to become a god, and the time for this event is at hand. Is Simon capable of fooling the gods, and will his normal friends be an aid or a problem to the process?. Simon, king of the witches features Andrew Prine in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Brenda Scott, George Paulsin, Norman Burton, Gerald York, Ultra Violet and Michael C. Ford. The music was composed by Stu Phillips. Cinematography was done by David L. Butler and editing by Renn Reynolds. The film has a running time of 99 minutes.
