Sitara is a 2015 Telugu-language Thriller Drama motion picture directed by Ashis Roy and produced by Siva Prasad Pradhan under the banner of Shivani Entertainment. Sitara stars Nassar, Raima Sen, Subrat Dutta, Meghna Naidu, Zahid Hasan, Fazlur Rahman Babu and Ravneet Kaur. The music was composed by Kalika Prasad Bhattacharya along with Emon Saha. Cinematography was done by Badal sarkar and editing by Sanjib Dutta. It was released on 4th December 2015. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Shivani Entertainment. Raghuram a popular director plans a movie with all the newcomers. In this process, he comes across Sitara and feels that she would be the perfect fit and selects her. During the shoot, Raghuram falls in love with Sitara but to his bad luck, Sitara falls in love with the hero. The twist in the tale arises when Sitara gets killed on the sets. Resolving the murder case forms rest of the story.
