Speech & Debate is a 2017 English-language Comedy Drama motion picture written by Stephen Karam and directed by Dan Harris. Frustrated by the hypocrisy they in their parents, teachers, and the entire school board, an unlikely trio set out to find a common truth and make their voices heard as they revive a defunct school club and take on the world. Speech & debate features Liam James in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Sarah Steele, Austin P. Mckenzie, Roger Bart, Janeane Garofalo, Wendi Mclendon-covey and Kal Penn. It was released on 7th April 2017.
