Story of the emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire, Lord Krishnadevaraya who presided over the empire at its zenith. Sri krishna deva raya features Rajkumar in the title role along with an ensemble cast including R. Nagendra Rao, B. R. Panthulu, N. Bharathi, Jayanthi, Mynavathi and Narasimhraju. The screenplay is written by B. R. Panthulu. The music was composed by T. G. Lingappa. Cinematography was done by A. Shanmugam and editing by R. Devarajan. The film has a running time of 194 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1969. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Padmini Pictures.
