Stripes is a 1981 English-language Comedy War movie written by Len Blum, Daniel Goldberg, Harold Ramis and Dan Goldberg. The movie is directed by Ivan Reitman and produced by Dan Goldberg and Ivan Reitman under the banner of Columbia Pictures. Two friends who are dissatisfied with their jobs decide to join the army for a bit of fun. Stripes stars Bill Murray in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Harold Ramis, Warren Oates, P. J. Soles, John Candy, P.j. Soles and Sean Young. The music was composed by Elmer Bernstein. Cinematography was done by Bill Butler and editing by Harry Keller, Michael Luciano and Eva Ruggiero.
