Surviving Christmas is a 2004 English-language Comedy Romance movie written by Deborah Kaplan, Harry Elfont, J.r. Ventimilia and Joshua Sternin. The movie is directed by Mike Mitchell and produced by Betty Thomas and Jenno Topping. A lonely, obnoxious young millionaire pays a family to spend Christmas with him. Surviving christmas stars Ben Affleck in the title role along with an ensemble cast including James Gandolfini, Christina Applegate, Catherine O'hara, Josh Zuckerman, Bill Macy and Jennifer Morrison. The screenplay is written by Harry Elfont, Deborah Kaplan, Jeffrey Ventimilia and Joshua Sternin. The music was composed by Randy Edelman. Cinematography was done by Peter Lyons Collister and Tom Priestly Jr. and editing by Craig McKay. The film has a running time of 91 minutes.
