Sweet Sixteen is a 1983 English-language Horror Thriller film written by Erwin Goldman and directed by Jim Sotos and produced by Jim Sotos under the banner of Sweet Sixteen Productions in collaboration with Productions Two. A beautiful lonely girl named Melissa tries to make new friends from a town she's currently living in. The only problem is, each of the boys that she spends time with end up brutally murdered. Her sixteenth birthday is on the way, but Melissa turns out to be a suspect when it ms she's the last person who has n her boyfriends alive. Written by Kelly Nicklay. Sweet sixteen features Bo Hopkins, Susan Strasberg, Don Stroud, Dana Kimmell, Aleisa Shirley, Glenn Withrow and Art Roberts. The music was composed by Ray Ellis along with Tommy Vig. Cinematography was done by James L. Carter and editing by Drake Silliman. The movie has a running time of 90 minutes. It was released on 18th March 1983. The film made a box office gross of $22 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Century International.
