Tarzan in Manhattan is a 1989 English-language Action Adventure film written by Anna Sandor, William Gough and Based On Characters Created By Edgar Rice Burroughs. The movie is directed by Michael Schultz and produced by Charles Hairston, Max A. Keller, Micheline H. Keller and Gina Scheerer under the banner of American First Run Studios airing on CBS. Tarzan goes to New York to rescue the chimp Cheetah, who has been captured by an evil animal experimenter. There, he teams up with Jane, a cab driver and daughter of an ex-cop private eye, who help Tarzan free Cheetah and his friends.
