Ten Little Indians is a 1974 English-language Mystery Thriller motion picture directed by Peter Collinson and produced by Harry Alan Towers under the banner of Corona Filmproduktion in collaboration with Tal a Films and COMECI. A group is invited, under false pretenses, to an isolated hotel in the Iranian desert. After dinner, a cassette tape accuses them all of crimes that they have gotten away with. One by one they begin to die, in accordance to the Ten Little Indians nursery rhyme. After a search is made of the hotel, they realize that the murderer is one of them. A few members of the group attempt to trust each other, but the question still remains, who can one trust? And who will leave the hotel alive? Written by Nick Johansen. Ten little indians stars Richard Attenborough in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Oliver Reed, Charles Aznavour, St Phane Audran, Elke Sommer, Gert Fr Be and Maria Rohm. The screenplay is written by Harry Alan Towers and Enrique Llovet which is inspired from Agatha Christie. The music was composed by Bruno Nicolai. Cinematography was done by Fernando Arribas and editing by John Trumper, Gabrielle Reinecke and Mike Crowley. The film has a running time of 98 min. It was released on 31st December 1973. The movie made a box office gross of $0 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by AVCO Embassy Pictures.
