Thayi Pongal is a 1980 Tamil-language Drama motion picture directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by T. Trivikrama Rao. Thayi pongal features Krishnam Raju in the title role along with and Radhika Sarathkumar in supporting roles. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja along with K. Chakravarthy.
