The Apparition is a 2012 English-language Horror Thriller film written and directed by Todd Lincoln and produced by Alex Heineman, Andrew Rona and Joel Silver under the banner of Dark Castle Entertainment in collaboration with Studio Babelsberg. A couple is haunted by a supernatural presence that is unleashed during a college experiment. The apparition features Ashley Greene, Sebastian Stan, Tom Felton, Julianna Guill, Luke Pasqualino, Rick Gomez and Meena Serendib. The music was composed by Tomandandy. Cinematography was done by Daniel Pearl and editing by Jeff Betancourt, Tom Elkins and Harold Parker. The motion picture has a running time of 82 minutes. It was released on 23rd August 2012. The Apparition was made on a budget of $17 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Warner Bros. Pictures.
