The Battle of Britain is a 1943 English-language Documentary History film written by Julius J. Epstein, Philip G. Epstein, S.k. Lauren, Julius Epstein and Philip Epstein. The movie is directed by Frank Capra and Anthony Veiller and produced by Office Of War Information. The official World War II US government account of Great Britain's stand against the Nazi war machine after the Dunkirk evacuation. The battle of britain features Douglas Bader in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Arno Breker, Winston Churchill, Hermann Göring, Adolf Hitler, John B. Hughes and Walter Huston. The music was composed by Howard Jackson. Cinematography was done by Robert Flaherty and editing by William Hornbeck. The film has a running time of 54 minutes. It was released on 26th November 1945. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by War Activities Committee of the Motion Pictures Industry.
