The Best Years of Our Lives is a 1946 English-language Drama Romance film written by Robert E. Sherwood and Mackinlay Kantor. The movie is directed by William Wyler and produced by Samuel Goldwyn under the banner of Samuel Goldwyn Productions. Three World War II veterans return home to small-town America to discover that they and their families have been irreparably changed.
