The Black Rider is a 1954 English-language Crime Thriller film written by A.r. Rawlinson and directed by Wolf Rilla and produced by A.r. Rawlinson under the banner of Balblair Productions. When young reporter and amateur biker Jerry Marsh investigates a mysterious hooded figure on a motorbike, he discovers crooks hiding out in a ruined castle with atomic sabotage on their minds.. Written by Allen Dace. The black rider features Jimmy Hanley in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Rona Anderson, Leslie Dwyer, Lionel Jeffries, Beatrice Varley, Michael Golden and Valerie Hanson. The music was composed by Wilfred Burns. Cinematography was done by Geoffrey Faithfull and editing by John Trumper. The movie has a running time of 65 minutes. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Butcher's Film Service.
