The Book Thief is a 2013 English-language Drama War film written by Markus Zusak and Michael Petroni. The movie is directed by Brian Percival and produced by Karen Rosenfelt and Ken Blancato under the banner of Fox 2000 Pictures in collaboration with Sunswept Entertainment, Studio Babelsberg and TSG Entertainment. While subjected to the horrors of World War II Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others.
