Kutcher plays 20-year-old college student Evan Treborn, who experiences blackouts and memory loss throughout his childhood. The butterfly effect stars Ashton Kutcher in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Amy Smart, Eric Stoltz, William Lee Scott, Elden Henson, Logan Lerman and Ethan Suplee.
