The Chase is a 1966 English-language Crime Drama film written by Horton Foote, Lillian Hellman and Lillian Hellman Screenplay. The movie is directed by Arthur Penn and produced by Sam Spiegel under the banner of Horizon Pictures. The escape of Bubber Reeves from prison affects the inhabitants of a small Southern town. The chase stars Marlon Brando in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Jane Fonda, Robert Redford, E. G. Marshall, Angie Dickinson, E.g. Marshall and Janice Rule.
