Documentary that covers the famous and successful expedition of the Everest conquest by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary, the first climbers to reach its peak. The conquest of everest features Meredith Edwards, John Hunt, George Band, Tom Bourdillon, Charles Evans, Alfred Gregory and Eric Shipton. The music was composed by Arthur Benjamin.
