The Contractor is a 2022 English-language Action Thriller movie written by J.p. Davis and directed by Tarik Saleh and produced by Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. The contractor stars Chris Pine in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ben Foster, Gillian Jacobs, Eddie Marsan, J. D. Pardo, Florian Munteanu and Kiefer Sutherland. The music was composed by Alex Belcher. Cinematography was done by Pierre A m and editing by Theis Schmidt. The motion picture has a running time of 103 minutes. It was released on 10th March 2022. The Contractor was made on a budget of $40 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Paramount Pictures. After being involuntarily discharged from the U.S. Special Forces, James Harper decides to support his family by joining a private contracting organization alongside his best friend and under the command of a fellow veteran.
