The Corrupted is a 2010 English-language Horror Sci-Fi film written by John Klappstein, Knighten Richman and Nick Moorcroft. The movie is directed by John Klappstein, Knighten Richman and Ron Scalpello and produced by Andrew Berg, John Sachs, Laure Vaysse and Nik Bowers under the banner of Eclipse Global Entertainment in collaboration with Fred Films, Metrol Technology, Powderkeg Pictures, Reliance Entertainment Productions 8 and Riverstone Pictures. A group of twenty-somethings are enjoying their stay at a lakeside cabin when a series of frightening and bizarre events derail their weekend. The corrupted features Sam Claflin in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Timothy Spall, Hugh Bonneville, Cathal Pendred, Shaun Dooley, Charlie Murphy and Noel Clarke. The music was composed by Andrew Kawczynski. Cinematography was done by Richard Mott and editing by Peter Christelis. It was released on 7th May 2010. The film made a box office gross of $0 million.
