The movie is directed by Sarjit Bains and Stefan Ruzowitzky and produced by Josef Aichholzer, Nina Bohlmann and Babette Schr Der under the banner of Aichholzer Film in collaboration with Magnolia Filmproduktion and Babelsberg Studio. A gang of young petty criminals end up in an abandoned farm when a deal goes wrong. The counterfeiters stars Karl Markovics in the title role along with an ensemble cast including August Diehl, Devid Striesow, Ameet Chana, Ronny Jhutti, Pooja Shah and Manish Patel.
