The Crush is a 1993 English-language Drama Thriller movie written and directed by Alan Shapiro and produced by James G. Robinson under the banner of Morgan Creek Productions. A journalist becomes the unwanted center of attention for a 14-year-old girl, who proceeds to sabotage his life after he refuses her sexual advances. The crush features Cary Elwes in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Rubin, Kurtwood Smith, Amber Benson, Gwynyth Walsh and Matthew Walker. The music was composed by Graeme Revell. Cinematography was done by Bruce Surtees and editing by Ian Crafford. The movie has a running time of 88 minutes. It was released on 2nd April 1993. The Film was successful at box office. The Crush was made on a budget of $6 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $13 million.
