The Evangelist is a 2009 English-language Comedy Drama film. Set in Provincetown, Massachusetts, gay theater director Danny Ziegfeld adopts twelve-year old Gideon Bellamont who turns out to be a religious fanatic. Danny reluctantly agrees to help Gideon on his mission to convert locals to Christianity, but Gideon's increasingly radical ideas start to create trouble in the community. Written by Anonymous.
