The Greatest is a 2009 English-language Drama Romance movie written by Shana Feste and directed by Tom Gries and Shana Feste and produced by Lynette Howell and Beau St. Clair under the banner of Barbarian Film Group in collaboration with Oceana Media Finance, Silverwood Films and Irish DreamTime. A drama that is centered around a troubled teenage girl and a family that is trying to get over the loss of their son. The greatest stars Pierce Brosnan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Susan Sarandon, Carey Mulligan, Aaron Taylor-johnson, Johnny Simmons, Kevin Hagan and Amy Morton. The music was composed by Christophe Beck. Cinematography was done by John Bailey and editing by Cara Silverman. The film has a running time of 98 minutes. It was released on 5th November 2009.
