The Incredibles is a 2004 English-language Animation Action movie written and directed by Brad Bird and produced by John Walker. Set in a retro-futuristic version of the 1960s, the film follows Bob and Helen Parr, a couple of superheroes, known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, respectively, who hide their powers in accordance with a government mandate, and attempt to live a quiet suburban life with their three children. The incredibles features Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Spencer Fox, Jason Lee, Samuel L. Jackson and Skeleton. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner Michael Giacchino. Cinematography was done by Andrew Jimenez, Patrick Lin and Janet Lucroy and editing by Stephen Schaffer. The movie has a running time of 115 minutes. It was released on 18th November 2004 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. The Incredibles was made on a budget of $92 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $631 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. At the 2005 Oscar Awards It won 2 awards including: Best Achievement in Sound Editing and Best Animated Feature Film of the Year. At the 2005 BAFTA Awards It also won an award for Best Feature Film.
