The Jungle Book is a 1967 English-language Animation Adventure motion picture written by Larry Clemmons, Ralph Wright, Ken Anderson, Vance Gerry and Rudyard Kipling. The movie is directed by Wolfgang Reitherman and produced by Walt Disney under the banner of Walt Disney Productions. After a threat from the tiger Shere Khan forces him to flee the jungle, a man-cub named Mowgli embarks on a journey of self discovery with the help of panther, Bagheera, and free spirited bear, Baloo. The jungle book features Phil Harris in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Sebastian Cabot, George Sanders, Sterling Holloway, John Abbott, Louis Prima and Bruce Reitherman. The motion picture is based on The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. The music was composed by George Bruns. Editing was done by Tom Acosta and Norman Carlisle.
