The Lifeguard is a 2013 English-language Drama Romance movie written and directed by Liz W. Garcia and produced by Liz W. Garcia, Milan Chakraborty, Joshua Harto, Mike Landry, Ed Mcwilliams and Carlos Velazquez under the banner of Attic Light Films in collaboration with C Plus Pictures, Houndstooth, La Pistola, Productivity Media and Wild Invention. A former valedictorian quits her reporter job in New York and returns to the place she last felt happy: her childhood home in Connecticut. She gets work as a lifeguard and starts a dangerous relationship with a troubled teenager. The lifeguard features Kristen Bell, David Lambert, Mamie Gummer, Martin Starr, Alex Shaffer, Joshua Harto and Blake Reading. The music was composed by Fred Avril. Cinematography was done by John Peters and editing by Jennifer Davidoff Cook and Elizabeth Kling. The movie has a running time of 98 minutes. It was released on 30th July 2013.
