The movie is directed by Bille Woodruff and produced by Alex Avant, Shakim Compere, Otis Best, Paula Patton, Yanelley Arty, Johnson Chan and Douglas Shaffer under the banner of CodeBlack Films in collaboration with Jorva Entertainment Productions and Flavor Unit Entertainment. Terrence J. stars as Charlie, a playboy who's convinced that relationships are dead. His two best friends, Donald Faison and Robert C. Riley, bet him that if he sticks to one woman for one month, he's bound to get attached. Charlie denies this until he crosses paths with the beautiful and mysterious Eva, played by singer/actress Cassie. They may agree to a casual affair, but eventually Charlie is questioning whether he may actually want . The perfect match features Terrence J, Cassie Ventura, Donald Faison, Dascha Polanco, Robert Christopher Riley, Lauren London and Sarah Spears. The music was composed by Kurt Farquhar. Cinematography was done by Tommy Maddox-Upshaw and editing by Michael Jablow. The film has a running time of 96 minutes. It was released on 11th March 2016. The Perfect Match was made on a budget of $10 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Lionsgate.
