The Pianist is a 2002 Malayalam-language Biography Drama motion picture written by Ronald Harwood and Wladyslaw Szpilman. The movie is directed by Roman Polanski. A Polish Jewish musician struggles to survive the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto of World War II. The pianist features Adrien Brody in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Emilia Fox, Michal Zebrowski, Ed Stoppard, Maureen Lipman, Frank Finlay and Jessica Kate Meyer.
