The Prince of Egypt is a 1998 English-language Animation Adventure film written by Philip Lazebnik and Nicholas Meyer. The movie is directed by Brenda Chapman, Steve Hickner and Simon Wells and produced by Penney Finkelman Cox and Sandra Rabins under the banner of DreamWorks Animation. An Egyptian prince learns of his identity as a Hebrew and his destiny to become the chosen deliverer of his people. The prince of egypt features Val Kilmer in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover and Patrick Stewart. The film is based on Book of Exodus. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer. Editing was done by Nick Fletcher. The film has a running time of 99 minutes. It was released on 18th December 1998.
